I’m a Christian birth doula in Atlanta, GA. I have my Bachelor’s in Biopsychology and was trained as a birth doula through DONA and Birthworker Academy. I get to walk alongside pregnant moms as they prepare for birth and motherhood. I’ve turned my passion for birth, advocacy, education, and faith into a dream career! Why is a career where I’m constantly on call AND I leave “work” smelling like sweat and amniotic fluid a dream?? I’m glad you asked!

I had a friend in high school who watched birth vlogs in her spare time, and I thought she was crazy…until I saw my first birth. Who knew birth was amazing?? After I attended my first birth as a doula, there was some unexplainable feeling within me. A nudge from the Lord (and when is He ever wrong?) This is what I was meant to do!

Nothing interests me more than a good birth story with all the juicy details. I’m not squeamish. I’ve always been a good listener. I do arm workouts to keep my hip squeeze game up. I get to run my own business dedicated to supporting mothers, to witnessing miracles, to advocating for connection and autonomy.

Yes, “working” looks like making this website, reading research articles, being woken up at 2AM, and holding all of my plans loosely, but it also looks like being a friend, a sister, a cheerleader, a safe place for you and your family.

Why would I not want to be a doula??
